Still attending church seven nights a week, Samuel earned the nickname "Preacher," a hoodlum by day and a minister by night. Samuel served God and Jesus, and for his troubles found himself abandoned and broke at the age of 19.In 1960, Samuel picked up a gun and embarked on a career of armed robbery and selling drugs.
