Whispering Winds are the voices of yesterday speaking to our spirit. They tell us to remember the old ones, the legends, and the history of the people. They remind us to be kinder to those who wish to remove the history and legacy of the people. We are told to stand strong and cling to the old ways, the old stories, the legends of our forefathers. The voices from the Indigenous people of a by-gone era rides the winds, if only we would listen. Whispering Winds is a collection of stories, legends, and 'mental artifacts' of a time when the people roamed free upon the land. They are our elders and through their stories, they live once again. Many of the myths are from the Woodland Indian. Others are from different tribes throughout our nation and Canada. All honor the oral tradition of storytelling and serve the purpose of keeping unique cultural expereineces and expressions alive.
