Author Biography
Peat, Neville (Author)
Neville Peat was born in Dunedin, New Zealand in 1947. His work focuses on the natural history of southern New Zealand and New Zealand's subantarctic islands. He has written over forty books. He won the 1996 Montana New Zealand Book Award for his book Wild Dunedin. In 2007, he was awarded the Creative New Zealand Michael King Writer's Fellowship. In 2016, he won the inaugural NZ$25,000 (A$24,195) Copyright Licensing New Zealand (CLNZ) Writers Award for nonfiction.
