More DescriptionWoman Who Fights Like A Man continues the story of Sarah and Rufus Randall as they try to build a ranch on the Yellowstone river. It is the fall of 1977. Sitting Bull and the rest of the free Sioux are in Canada. When the fall rains begin, Randall, Mr. Moor, and four soldiers led by Sergeant Washington head south to recover weapons and supplies stolen from the Army. They run into old man Jenkins who is trapped by a Sioux war party led by Swift Arrow. Randall and Moor negotiate a truce and begin to head north with the supplies, accompanied by the Sioux until a band of Cree, sent by sitting Bull, appear to confront the Sioux. At the Ranch, Sarah must hold out against Travis and his hired guns until Randall returns. Then, they must fight off Swift Arrow and his warriors as they attack the house. With the help of Horse Breaker, they convince the remaining Sioux to head back to Canada as Randall and Sarah ride with Moor and Washington to go after Travis. They end up in Helena where Moor and the soldiers head to Fort Benton with the recovered supplies, as Sarah and Randall head back south towards the ranch. They are attacked and must fight their way home, only to find the ranch under siege by the man behind the weapons thefts.
