Long ago on a hill that overlooked a small village stood a young tree named Woody who lived up there with his mom and dad. More DescriptionLong ago on a hill that overlooked a small village stood a young tree named Woody who lived up there with his mom and dad. There was a forest of trees there with them and they would all talk to each other when no one was around, using their branches to communicate so that no one could hear them. From the beginning, Woody's parents Bruce and Grace would share with their boy all about God and how He created everything in the whole world, including the three of them and that they were all made special for God's purpose. As Woody grew taller, a strange, dark knot slowly began to grow right in the middle of his trunk, and every year it would get bigger. This growth made Woody look different than the other young trees and they all began to tease him and call him names. Bruce and Grace tried to tell their boy how special he was even with his knot, and that God would still use him someday for His great purpose. But it was hard for Woody to believe them. Then one day the men in the village climbed the hill and cut down all the trees, including Woody and his parents, and then carted them away. Woody thought that he would never see his parents again. But God had a plan from the very beginning to give Woody the greatest purpose of all. Woody finally believed that he was indeed more special than he ever dreamed he would be, just as his parents had told him all along. Come and see what God did for Woody and his family and what He can do for yours. We all have a purpose in His Kingdom, and God is just waiting for you to believe He has one for you too!
