Volume 2 contains a reproduction of John Dumbrill's "Memory Map of Fernswood" with his comments, poems by Phyllis Dumbrill Williams, Edward Kneale (E.K.) Williams, John Fletcher Dumbrill, and Richard Douglas (Doug) Dumbrill, and excerpts of H. L. Pringle's memoir which includes his early memories of his grandparents and times at the family Wyoming ranch. Additionally, Volume 2 includes many historic photographs and descriptions of Wyoming family celebrations in 1983, 2018, and 2021. In June of 2021 many family members attended Dr. Christine Gillette's presentation at the Rockpile Museum in Gillette, Wyoming, as she held a successful presentation and talk about her 2020 book, A Story Nearly Told: Histories of a Wyoming Homestead. Dr. Gillette, a celebrated member of the Dumbrill family, was honored with a family sourdough pancake breakfast, a cookie reception, and a special dinner. Included are photos and descriptions of those special times of celebration.
