I looked at biomechanics textbooks to find out how to use my body safely and then combined that with my own experience and practice to create the JOINT-FRIENDLY FITNESS approach.
This book has exercises that can be done in a home gym, with clear instructions on what to do and which positions to avoid. There is a 5-star joint-friendly rating system for more exercises (over 70 total!). This book will help you understand the basic biomechanics of how muscle works during exercise, as well as guidelines on protecting your spine during exercises.
