Enduring a lifetime of his arrogant evils toward his slaves and their families, if they did something wrong, having to watch them be tortured, around that seven-mile "happy track ' taking all the hope and laughter from his heart until Kendrick Zlebra, the son of Mr. Zlebra brought home Ms. Rose, his wife and a speck of hope turned to a trail of life to a broken-hearted soul who thought it was impossible until she gave him a hug and kiss, and filled his dry well with tears of forgotten joy.
