An ethnically, linguistically and occupational homogenous sample (n=7, 3 men, 4 women, all Chinese professional athletes) were investigated. The results of the study found case 3 endures 296.xx major depressive disorder, and heart spleen deficiency depression; case 7 suffers from for history of 296.26 adjustment disorder Mixed depressed mood and anxiety, and past time of 300.4 (F34.1) Persistent Depressive Disorder in DSM V (dysthymic disorder in DSM-IV-TR), and heart spleen deficiency depression in TCM.
