This story takes place at the end of the Civil War. Colonel Jeremiah Brown turns his hotel into an Academy for Boys with the intent to help the orphans who have lost their fathers in the Great War. The story tells the beginning educational history of his son Moses and his friends who later go on to run the Academy as teachers. Moses meets and does a flip flop over his beloved Charlotte with whom he pursues a sweet romance. Originally intended to have three parts, this will now be a five part series to bring the story back around to the 1960's and the end of the Academy history as a school. The first two titles in the series are The House I Dreamed Of, and Robbing the Train available on The Kindle Store as E books.
